more on the girls

It seems like Joslyn is starting to listen better and understand more than she used to. (I know, that come with growing) But it is really a relief in the house. When we tell her to stay in the yard, she mostly listens. If we tell her to get down or come here please, she does!!!!! I like not having to punish for such small things. It is so amazing how much kids learn so quickly. I wish we all continued to learn at that rate. Abby is rolling EVERYWHERE!!!! She can sit up by herself for a while without falling.....if you get her in the position first. Also she realizes when she has made a noise like if she hits the horn on her toy or Joslyn's keyboard. She still loves her rattles. She has also taken a liking recently to a little teddy bear Joslyn got for her birthday. They are both just so cute!! I can't get enough of them.

I just wanted to put a little sumthin sumthin on here to express my love for my Sammy. I am married to the most wonderful man and he is absolutely the one I want to be with for the rest of my life. We are going to go through a lot together and I am excited to see what lies ahead for us. I know that no matter what he has my back and I've got his. I am so thankful for him both as a husband and a father to our beautiful daughters. He loves those two with all his heart and I can see it everyday in his eyes when they play together. Gosh I just love him. I love him. I love him. I LOVE HIM!!!!!! ..........

Next time you stay at a hotel.....

Alright, so since I've been a housekeeper I have gotten a whole new look at staying at a hotel. In fact, I have decided that anyone who stays at one should follow these simple rules.

#1 Clean out your own disguting hairs in the bathtub and on the toilet. (cuz that's freakin nasty to make someone else do that for you).

#2 If you are checking out that day, don't bother making the bed for the housekeepers. It makes the job harder. The best thing to do with all of your used bedding and towels is to put them in separate piles on the floor.

#3 If you are staying for another night and you put your Do Not Disturb sign out, just leave it there. There is nothing worse than thinking you are (finally) done cleaning up after people for the day to find out some jerk pulled his sign down and NOW he actually wants service. Do a nice favor and just ask the front desk for the stuff you want and MAKE YOUR OWN BED.

#4 Don't forget to leave a tip. Over $1. Nothing in a vending machine is less than a dollar and most likely that's where the poor housekeeper is getting her lunch.

There you have it. Just a few things to keep in mind to help make the world a better place. And also just remember......don't piss off someone that is cleaning both your toilet AND your coffee pot. (you DO want her to use separate rags don't you?)

Two great days off in a row!

These last two days have been really good days. I seriously enjoy my days off. Yesterday Elizabeth, Christina, the girls and I went around to get more things for our wedding reception. It is coming up in only 2 and a half weeks! I am SO excited! I finally had "the vision" of what I am wanting so finally things are getting easier to plan. I think it is really going to turn out nicely. We are having it at a campsite in Williamsburg and it is kind of an over-night thing. (If people want to). Today I bought my dress and it is PERFECT! Sam has been going disc golfing almost everyday with Michael. From what I hear, they are getting pretty good. But either way, I know he'shavin a lotof fun. It's like his new favorite thing......after soccer of course.

Joslyn is showing more and more signs of "terrible two's". We love her dearly, but dang. These next (I'm sure) two years are going to be real challenges. Then as soon as she is out of it, Abby will be just getting started! AAAhhhhhhhh!!!!! Abby is growing so fast though. She is already rolling all over the place. If she keeps getting more floor time, she will be crawling in no time. Joslyn's favoritetoys continue to be books and Abby is all about the rattles. Alright, pray for us during this time of trials with our Joslyn!!!!!!!! Muah!
